        Abstract
        This course is an introduction to basic sewing skills and forms part of the Tuvalu Technical & Vocational Development Programme as a level 1 course. It is intended for school leavers and community groups in Pacific Island Nations who have limited knowledge or experience of basic sewing skills. Specifically, the course covers basic sewing equipment, the sewing machine, and hand stitching.
