From 'Introduction': This report grew out of a desire to provide a concise synthesis of the detailed information generated by the research process in order to maximise opportunities for the findings to be implemented. The goal of the report is to provide guidance to those using ICTs for open and distance learning to ensure that women have equal access and are able to contribute to their full potential. Our objective is to provide a practical tool for those working in the field.
