Presentation slides from a presentation given at the Berlin Workshop, 6-7 November 2014. Presented by Dr. Jessica Aguti, Education Specialist, Teacher Education, Commonwealth of Learning. In preparation for the WDR, an International Policy Workshop was held in Berlin, Germany, during November 6-7, 2014. The workshop brought together academics, civil society representatives, policymakers and development practitioners from around the world to exchange ideas and debate core issues to be addressed in the WDR and provide the authors with inputs from leading experts from across the international research community. The workshop was organized and hosted by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the BMZ's convening authority, the Development Policy Forum of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), in collaboration with the World Bank’s WDR 2016 Team. The Commonwealth of Learning was invited to participate at this International Policy Workshop.
